The theme of the conference is:

"TOWARDS HIGHER ACHIEVEMENTS AND SPIRITUALITY THROUGH MENTAL PROCESSES AND BRAIN CULTURE"

Optimizing brain function will help individuals achieve their full potential, which in turn will result in greater happiness, vibrant health, higher productivity and a more closely knit harmonious society 

The International Conference  will provide a special forum for International, Inter-disciplinary, Inter-dialogue, scientific sessions, research in the areas of psychological, medical, legal, counselling, psychotherapy, trade and commerce, information technology, humanitarian services, family systems, socio-religious etc., to share and disseminate valuable knowledge,  research findings  with an ultimate positive hope of enhancing human dignity and universal brotherhood.

Conference themes would focus on:

(a) Research on the application of psychological principles to enhance higher mental processes

(b) Development in research in brain functions /faculties (brain culture)

(c) Sharing a world of higher practice in Spirituality through Psychology.

The Organizing Committee now welcomes submissions of abstracts.

All contributions must be of high quality, original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review process.

Academic Review Committee consisting referees of international reputation will review all the Abstracts.

All the accepted Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.

Abstracts will only be accepted on the basis that one of the authors will attend the conference and present the paper.

HOW TO SUBMIT

The Abstract, should be a single WORD document and must consist of:

  1. A front page with the title.
  2. Followed by the name (as appears in Passport).
  3. Affiliation and email of the corresponding author.
  4. Please also indicate for each paper, who the presenter is, by bolding that name.
  5. Please also include this statement:
  6. “The author/s has/have read, and accepted, the Conditions, Requirements, and Disclaimer regarding abstract submissions”.
  7. Brief Profile of the Presenter

Acceptance of the Abstract will be notified within 14 days of receiving it. All accepted Abstracts will be edited and printed in an Edited Volume and will be distributed among all Participants of the I.C.P.A.P.SL – 2011.

In general, it is expected that abstracts will address:

  • Introduction to the topic or context
  • Aims of the project or research questions and focus of enquiry
  • Sound research methods and  analytical, theoretical framework
  • Research findings and critical analysis
  • Originality and contribution to the field
  • Bio-ethical boundaries

All abstract are blind reviewed by members of the Academic Review Committee and other expert reviewers.

Ethics in publishing

All authors ethically will not be gaining economic, financial or any other gratifications by publishing their article in the ICPAPSL2011 Conference Book.

Submission of an Abstract implies that the work described has not been published previously that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere including electronically in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the copyright-holder.

Authors please complete a Copyright agreement with ICPAPSL2011 indicating their permission to publish as printed matter, electronic or otherwise while keeping the copyright of the Abstract for themselves.

Methods : Method followed in the research covered in the paper should be briefly outlined

Appendices:   If there is more than one appendix, they should be identified as A, B, etc

Keywords: Immediately after the Abstract provide keywords.

Abbreviations: In a foot note to be placed on the first page of the article.

Figure captions: Ensure that each illustration has a caption.

POSTERS:

The content of poster scan

(a) Report on the presenter’s completed or preliminary empirical findings,

(b) Evaluate the empirical findings of others in the form of a meta-analysis or critical review,

(c) Present developing concepts or theoretical frameworks,

(d) Document teaching innovations, or

(e) Report on practice at the individual course, program or departmental levels.

(f) The presenter should bring at least 100 handouts.

(g) Focus should be on interactive discussion.

(h)The Academic Review Committee may integrate sets of posters into thematic sessions
